Stepping in Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum

It was one sunny weekend, we browsed on our phone, searched for a place to visit, found Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum – located in Inistioge, Kilkenny.

Ireland is always cold even if it’s summer. For that, I think, is the reason why the lands are always green. I’m not complaining, I’m not a fan of warm weather. 😉

Anyway, the admission fee to the place is €4 per car; the fee includes access to all the gardens, woodland trails, and the tea room. Not bad, right?

Now let’s have a look at my shots!

The Noble Fir Walk

A lovely place for a walk. 🙂

The iron-cast observatory serving as the tea room

Fancy a tea? Head on to their stunning tea room.

Posing with a Himalayan Hemlock tree

This tree must be so old! Look at that size!

Monkey Puzzle Avenue Walk

The trees were called monkey puzzle because they were indeed a puzzle for the monkeys on how to climb them. ^_^

The rose walled garden

My travel buddy, not so happy to pose with the roses, hehehe!

Plenty of garden space to enjoy

I took us about 3 hours to roam the place, with the inclusion of time to take pictures.

The place is dog-friendly, just remember to keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
